INDORE: Deputy commissioner of state excise department Naval Singh Jamod was in for an early morning shocker on Friday, as teams of Lokayukta special police establishment raided his residential premises in Indore and adjacent Dhar.

The raids which started early in the morning are still underway and have already led the anti-corruption establishment reportedly to cash and assets worth several crores, which are disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to Indore Lokayukta SP Arun Mishra, the raid at the premises of the senior excise official posted in Indore presently, have so far unearthed Rs 32 lakh cash, enormous jewellery, residential plots in Indore, Dhar, Alirajpur and Khargone districts, besides many luxury vehicles and other assets.
