"The visit, from September 7 to 11, is to promote stronger links between the next generation of ministers from both countries," the Singapore's ministry of foreign affairs said in a statement.
In New Delhi, Goh will be calling on India's minister of finance, defence minister Arun Jaitley, ruling party BJP's president Amit Shah and minister of urban development Venkaiah Naidu during his visit.
Goh, who holds the honorary title of "Emeritus Senior Minister", is also expected to meet top industry leaders his long-time friends including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, and senior BJP leader L K Advani.
He is being accompanied by minister in the Prime Minister's Office and second minister for home affairs and trade and industry S Iswaran and minister of state for national development Desmond Lee, the statement said.
Additionally, Iswaran will also old meetings with minister for civil aviation Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati, minister of state (MoS) for power, coal, and new and renewable energy Piyush Goyal, and (MoS) for commerce and industry and (MoS) for finance and corporate affairs Nirmala Sitharaman.
