Sushanthi S of Sri Vidhya Mandir Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Krishnagiri was declared the state topper with a score of 1193/1200.
The second spot was captured by Alamelu A L of Sri Vijay Vidya Mandir Girls' Higher Secondary School in Dharmapuri with a score of 1192/1200, while Thulasirajan D of Green Park Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Namakkal and Nitya S of Prince Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Madipakkam shared the third rank. These students have taken Tamil as their second language.
The results are available on tn.results.nic.in and dge.tn.nic.in. Students can also get their results from their schools.
The results of private candidates will not be released online. Instead, they can get their marksheets from the centres where they appeared for the exams.
Students can apply for retotalling or to get a photocopy of their answer scripts from May 9 to 14, except on Sunday, through their school.
Private candidates can get it done through their exam centres. Only students who apply for the photocopies of their answer scripts can apply for revaluation later.
Students who have failed in the exams can apply for the instant exams to be conducted in June. They can apply through their schools from May 12 to 16, while private candidates can apply through their exam centres, according to a release from the director of government examinations.
