One killed, several feared to be trapped in landslide in Mumbai

MUMBAI: One person was killed and several others are feared to be trapped under debris after a landslide hit the Antop Hill area in the city today morning, civic officials said.

"The mishap took place on Mistry Dargah Road near Old Post office in Antop Hill area, in which one person was killed. Several others are feared to have been trapped under the debris," an official of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.

Rescue operation has been launched out by the Fire Brigade and an National Disaster Response Team (NDRF) team, he added.
